The Project:
Feels a bit strange labelling your own wedding as a ‘project’ or even having it in a portfolio for that matter, but I’d be remised not to. I started off not wanted to get too carried away with things, but after each idea came to us (mostly from my wife Rachael) we couldn’t help ourselves. It has, and will always be, one of the most enjoyable creative endeavours I’ve ever spent time on.
The Goal:
The theme of the day, like all wedding are, was ‘community’. Instead of leaving gifts guests were encourage to help out with the day in some way, meaning we were married surrounded by hand made bunting, home grown flowers home made cakes and ornate table numbers. It helped give the day character, charm, and most definitely added to the story of the day.
